All Aboard! The Channel Islands form an eight-island archipelago along the Santa Barbara Channel in our Pacific Ocean with five of them forming a National Park: their surrounding waters making up the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. Experience a truly rare opportunity to board and bunk with your colleagues during a 2-day, 2-night tour of the archipelagos northernmost islands: Santa Rosa and San Miguel. The trip begins Wednesday night ahead of the conference where we board the Truth, a 65-foot, 30-passenger charter boat at 8PM for a Thursday, 4AM departure to Santa Rosa Island. There will be an organized day hike and tour of Santa Rosa Island on Thursday, followed by San Miguel Island for another organized hike and free time Friday, returning to Santa Barbara harbor by 5pm. Meals are included.
Includes overnight accommodations aboard the Truth in bunks (w/ privacy curtains), and all meals for the 2- days and 2-nights. Does not include transport to the harbor on Wednesday or from the harbor Friday evening. Rental gear is available at an additional cost on board including snorkel/masks and kayaks during free time.
