Land use and water attorneys will provide a ?Land Use Litigation Tour? of precedent setting Supreme Court cases emanating from Santa Barbara County.  Next, we will look to the Coastal Commission?s push to regulate for sea level rise and climate change impacts, and then to water supply planning during times of shortage.

We will take a walk down memory lane to hear about those famous?and infamous?projects that now define our urban environment and reflect on what could have been.  Perhaps these stories will help us define what the future holds for how our urban fabric will change, or whether change is avoidable.
